Hedwig Cattery is proud to offer kittens from Master Grand Champion lines, as well as other Regional and National winner lines. We also have kittens available in the "Pet", "High-Pet" and /or "Show-Pet" Quality range (click here for cost information). Our kittens are sold with a written sales contract. We include a written health guarantee (with genetic health guarantee), and a veterinary international health certificate, which is provided at time of sale. Our entire cattery (breeding stock), have all been PKD Scanned and found free. Tested for Leukemia and found free as well as NEVER having a death due to either disease. Additionally, we do NOT have history of FIP loss in any of our current breeding lines. There is no test available to confirm 100% against FIP or a safe vaccine for FIP. (There is research going on to create a DNA test, but until this is made available at a reasonable cost, no cattery can for see if a given kitten will fall victim). We do however feel, that if one of our babies ever dies from FIP and the owner remained responsible by giving sound health (NEVER allowing the FIP (experimental vaccine to be given).) Maintain a healthy diet (recommended by breeder OR your vet) and never allowing the kitten to roam outside or with another outside cat/kitten.

What comes with kitty?

1. Registration papers for CFA and CCA

2. Pedigree (family tree of your kitten)

3. All medical records (1st, 2nd shots, spay/neuter certificate, international health certificate) All shots/exams are done by our vet over three (3) different visits to our vet. Our vet signs all paperwork as well.   Copy of the sire and dam PKD-DNA negative results.  (Which shows your vet your kitten is also negative).

4. Breeder/Owner contract (holds both health and genetic guarantees)

5. Kitten is 100% litter trained, eating Orijen food, loving-trusting of humans, trained for grooming (I.E.: bath/blow-dried, nail clipping etc) Details on food found at www.championpetfoods.com as well as store locator in your area.

6. We remain in contact with the owners for as long as they would like too, in order to support them in merging the new kitten/ or cat into their home. We love getting updates and photo's. Additionally we pride ourselves on the good relationship between our new families and the long-term health of their new kitten/cat.

Note: ALL animals leaving our cattery are spayed or neutered and 100% healthy (signed off by our vet) as well as social and trusting and100% litter trained.

Below you will notice Terms of Kitten Sale Status

In an effort to be fair to each person who wants to purchase a kitten, we have set up a " Sales Status" process that we will follow. Listed below is the meaning of these status codes you'll see listed on each kitten. If they do not have a status code listed, this means they are NOT under review by any other customer (which we will code as "OPEN") and as a result, you would be first in line to purchase them.

However if someone has asked for details on them, we will place a status code of "24 hours-Customer Reviewing" which is over by 6pm EST. This does not mean that you cannot also ask about them, but it means that you would be 2nd/ 3rd behind someone else. Upon receiving a 2nd request, we would inform the person in front of your request, that there was another inquiry and they have 24 hours to decide to move forward in the purchasing process/ or we will assume they are not interested, therefore next person in line will then become the first in line for purchasing option, of the kitten. If the kitten does not sell, they go back to the "OPEN" status.

A "Pending Sale"/ "Pending Placement" means that the new family has placed and offer to purchase or adopt an adult, but funds have not been received yet. (Therefore, the kitten/cat remains on hold for a short period of time to allow for their transfer. Should the offer be cancelled or their funds do not arrive (within agree timeframe), the kitten will go back up for sale.

"SOLD" This means the kitten is no longer available for sale and their photo's will move over to "kittens sold" section of the website, until they ship at 12-13 weeks.
