What is a special Needs kitten or cat?

Special needs does NOT mean the cat/ or kitten is ill and needs medical help. Only that it has a fault and may need special care by the owner or that it could carry a gene that may make it fall victim someday to a genetic fault.

Re-homed with the Stephens family of Burlington, Ont, due to death of cat 's owner in Jan 2007.

(This is a good example as to why we should make sure to contact our breeder, if death or illness happens to the purchasing owner).  Most breeders will help re-home the cat, based on it's needs and at the same time confirm that the health etc. is in tacts as well.
