Hedwig Cattery Status - as of 9/28/2005
The following cats/kittens were DNA or Scanned for PKD and found
positive for the PKD1 gene. We have families who have adopted these cats/kittens,
and as a result, have decided to keep a chart so we have clear records of how PKD has
effected our lines in the past.
We are now 100% DNA-PKD tested for ALL breeding
animals. Therefore we know any kittens being born here are all DNA-Negative.

Born: 4/17/1996 Died:9/2004 - died from kidney failure.
Went very quickly after not showing any signs of illness. One day she was
missing from her usual and owner went to find her. She found her laying on a
suitcase with laboured breathing. Rushed her to the hospital but she passed away
shortly after. Button is greatly missed by both the owner as well as myself
(breeder). She was a wonderful show kitten/cat and fantastic child-like kitty.
Button was a National winner and Grand Champion. Known for her outstanding
color....pitch black!
DreamCatcher - Scanned Pos 1999- Could not locate owners on 9/28/05
but as of 2004, he was reported to be still very playful/loving and a joy for the family.
